Take an ordinary clipboard, give it a beautiful aged patina, add carefully created graphics and messaging and you have an original HipBoard.

The boards are found at second-hand shops and tag sales. The best are those that have that special funky, distressed look. The clips are removed and given a little more “age.”

While the clips are off the boards a variety of techniques are applied, including collage, printing, and stamping, to make each board unique. Then the clips are re-attached using just the right screws & nuts.

Each HipBoard receives a carefully selected thought or phrase that makes it very special and meaningful.
